Crown and Bridge Delivery

  • Remember it take 24 hrs for the cement to cure under your new crown/bridge.


  • Avoid tough, crunch or sticky foods (candy or gum).


  • Limit chewing to the side opposite of your new crown/bridge.


  • Aggressive chewing can cause your new prosthesis to set improperly (soft diet for the first 24 hrs).


  • The new crown/bridge can be included in nightly brushing, but please void flossing the crown/bridge for 24hrs. After this time, flossing (floss threaders for bridges) are indicated at least once daily.
