After your root canal procedure, take note of these simple directions:
- Your mouth will be soar for at least a few days after treatment. Do not chew
on the side of the mouth of the procedure for that time period.
- Resume normal brushing avoiding the treated area.
- Take your medications or antibiotics (if prescribed) as stated by the physician.
- Rinse your mouth with salt water up to 3 times a day to reduce swelling.
You will most likely have discomfort for a few days after your procedure. However, if any dental parts become loose or you are experiencing pain, please call our office with your concerns.
